Mission
The main mission of the Centre SÈVE is to acquire, disseminate and transfer new knowledge, useful tools and innovative technologies to improve plant productivity and the economic value of agricultural production within a social context that values the sustainability of ecosystems and food security.
The second most important mission of Centre SÈVE is to contribute to the training of highly qualified personnel necessary for the development of Quebec agriculture. The ultimate goals of the Centre SÈVE are to exploit, develop and rationally diversify non-forestry plant resources.
