Mission
There is increasing recognition that future major breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) and in neuroscience will hinge on the development of new synergies between the two fields. Quebec is currently poised at the forefront of both the AI and neuroscience domains and thus provides an ideal research ecosystem to address this urgent need. The strategic research cluster Unifying AI and Neuroscience – Québec (UNIQUE) will develop in Québec a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary research and training strategy centered on the intersection of artificial and biological intelligence.
